SIOP (International Society of Paediatric Oncology) is the only global multidisciplinary society entirely devoted to pediatric and adolescent cancer. The society has over 2,600 members worldwide including doctors, nurses, other healthcare professionals, scientists, and researchers. SIOP’s vision is that no child should die of cancer: cure for more, care for all.

Julius Xavier Scott is a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology in Australia and is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, the Indian Society of Palliative Care, and the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer.

Ximena García-Quintero, MD, MSc, is the Program Manager of the Palliative Care Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She founded and led one of the few pediatric palliative care programs in Colombia for five years. Her work focuses on strengthening pediatric palliative care programs in low- and middle-income countries and developing sustainability strategies for these programs.
