“Exciting Breakthrough in Early Detection of Aggressive Ovarian Cancer!
A new study from the University of Birmingham has revealed that ‘symptom-triggered’ testing can detect early-stage high-grade serous ovarian cancer, a particularly aggressive form in 1 out of 4 affected women. This approach not only catches the disease early but also significantly increases the chances of complete surgical removal, even in advanced cases.
This is a game-changer in the fight against ovarian cancer, emphasising the critical importance of recognising symptoms and fast-tracking testing. Early diagnosis can dramatically improve outcomes, giving women a fighting chance.”
