St. Anna Children’s Hospital shared on LinkedIn:
“New management team at St. Anna Children’s Hospital.
In August 2024, University Professor Dr. Caroline Hutter will take up the professorship of pediatric hematology and oncology at the Medical University of Vienna and at the same time take over the medical management of our St. Anna Children’s Hospital.
As the clinical department for general paediatrics and paediatric haemato-oncology of the University Clinic for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, our hospital is closely linked to the Medical University of Vienna.
We are pleased to welcome Caroline as the first woman in the history of our company to this key position. Caroline brings an impressive combination of medical and scientific expertise as well as extensive international experience.
Most recently, she worked as a senior physician in our hospital, led the clinical precision medicine team and was a principal investigator in the St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute (Children’s Cancer Research Institute – CCRI).
University Professor Dr. Andishe Attarbaschi joins her side as the new co-director. Andishe is an internationally recognized expert in pediatric hemato-oncology, has been in charge of the hematological-oncology ward 2A for 15 years and has made a significant contribution to the further development of training in this field at the European level.
We are convinced that these two outstanding experts will successfully lead our hospital into the future. Congratulations and here’s to a successful cooperation!”
