In 2021 I interviewed Dr Nectarios Andrews, a dentist who works with Head and Neck Cancer patients, as part of a series on the dental needs of Head and Neck Cancer patients – before, during and after radiation treatment.

This interview about a rare, serious side effect has been viewed over 4,000 times.

All dentists should routinely ask all new patients, ‘Have you every had radiation therapy to the mouth or jaw area?’ Extractions for people who have had radiation to these areas, as I have, may not heal with very tough consequences, as this video explains.”
