Chronic pain – Patient’s Experience

”Chronic pain is so unpredictable. Yesterday was somewhat tolerable. Today, I can barely get out of bed. I’m terribly fatigued from tossing and turning all night. It’s going to be a lonnnnng day.”

Gitte Joergensen, Patient Advocate Reviewer at the Conquer Cancer Grants Selection Committee (GSC) at ASCO, shared Megan-Claire Chase ‘s post on X, adding:

”I hear you. Cancer treatment truly is the gift that keeps on giving…pain and discomfort that is. I have just been told I have a radiated pec muscle and now have to see a pain management specialist. This is 4.5 years after radiation.”
