Research is hope and that couldn’t be truer for Stephen – St. Baldrick’s Foundation
St. Baldrick’s Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Research is hope and that couldn’t be truer for Stephen. Little did he know his St. Baldrick’s involvement, which began in 2015, would end up saving his life after being diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2015.
He was put on an aggressive treatment immediately after diagnosis. A few months later, in February 2024, between a limb salvage surgery and a leg amputation, his family and medical team went with the latter. This will ensure the cancer does not return in Stephen’s leg and, with a prosthetic, he’ll still be able to remain active.
Learn more about Stephen’s St. Baldrick’s involvement and his cancer battle.”
