”A new perspective paper in Clinical Cancer Research, in collaboration with experts from FDA and the American Statistical Association, details considerations to improve collection and analysis of overall survival data in oncology clinical trials. Incredible recent advances with cancer therapies have resulted in patients living much longer following a cancer diagnosis. Adapting the focus on the gold standard endpoint of overall survival in this new era will enhance understanding of the benefits and risks for new cancer therapies. Read the paper.”
