Liz O’Riordan: The silent collateral damage of breast cancer, would surprise you
Liz O’Riordan shared on X:
“This is what I live with every day – chronic pain, tight scars and severe cording.
Physiotherapy helps a bit. Pain killers help a bit. Lifting weights helps a bit.
Multiple ops, 2 full rounds of radiotherapy, one frozen shoulder, permanently restricted movement and power which forced me to retire as a breast surgeon.
The silent collateral damage of breast cancer, well any cancer, would surprise you.”
