The global myeloma community has lost a friend who has paid it forward

Robin Tuohy, Vice-President of Support Groups at the International Myeloma Foundation, shared a post by Yelak Biru, President and CEO at the International Myeloma Foundation, on X:

“The global myeloma community has lost a mentor, friend and someone who has paid it forward. I am just heartbroken but grateful for all Jack Aiello has done to help others.”

Quoting Yelak Biru‘s post:

“Jack Aiello, a 29-year myeloma survivor and a fierce and revered advocate for myeloma research and patients, International Myeloma Foundation board member, passed away peacefully this afternoon surrounded by family and friends! Thank you for being my friend and mentor, Jack! ”
