“A total joy to meet Karen L-s , a fellow Head and Neck Cancer survivor and advocate.

Karen is active with the Mouth Cancer Foundation Support Group, peer support, public speaking and education for health professionals about the physical and psychological impact of treatment for this group of cancers.

She is actively advocating for more Late Effects Clinics.

We’ve only met via Facebook but we clicked like old friends when we met in Essex UK today.

In the photos you can see Karen speaking at the House of Commons, BBC Essex and a fundraiser to purchase open face masks for her local health service. ”
