Deeply saddened to report the passing of Dr. Bhuvaneswari Ramaswamy – Ohio State Medical Oncology

“We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Dr. Bhuvaneswari Ramaswamy, a renowned and beloved Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center breast medical oncologist and researcher who greatly enriched our cancer program before succumbing to breast cancer following a heroic battle.”
Jame Abraham retweeted the post, adding the following:
“World lost a true angel!! Dr. Ramaswamy was an amazing person, remarkable breast cancer doctor, researcher and a true friend!! Always put others first.”

Jame Abraham, MD, FACP, is Chairman of the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Cleveland Clinic and a Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
He previously directed the Cleveland Clinic Breast Oncology Program. Dr. Abraham is also a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Breast Cancer Committee and holds leadership roles in NRG Oncology and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP).
