I recently met with my Ph.D. mentor, Dr. Govindarajan Padmanabhan (https://lnkd.in/eCbbNpt5), who was the former director of the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), my alma mater. Dr. Padmanabhan has played a pivotal role in shaping my academic journey and my research aspirations.

His guidance and unwavering support have been the driving force behind my pursuit of excellence in cancer research. Interacting with him once again reminded me of the incredible impact mentors can have on our lives.
