Stepping into the halls of the Sbarro Health Research Organization alongside my dear friend Cristiana Dell’Anna and Miguel Mostafá, Dean of the School of Science and Technology, and Michael Polo, the National President of Son’s of Italy, we delved into discussions about the intersection of cinema and medical research, all against the backdrop of preparing for the premiere of “Cabrini” on March 8, 2024.

The story of Frances Cabrini, a beacon of strength amidst the challenges of the late 19th century, resonated deeply with each of us.
Prof. Giordano’s words about the importance of cancer research resonated deeply with me, especially as someone who is committed to supporting initiatives like the Sbarro Institute, both in the U.S. and Italy. As a fellow Neapolitan, his sentiments about the significance of our shared heritage touched my heart.
