“As a brand new Coloradan, being part of the ASCO2024 Total Health | Oncology tour in my hometown was extra special and wow, what a powerful and empowering group of speakers!

And I have to admit the tabata as part of our physical activity pillar on Sunday morning was nothing short of Epic! We are all a little inspired by representing the Summer Cancer Olympics!

I learn something new every single time I join the incredible speaker lineup and am honored to be alongside these and I have been increasingly excited about changing the outcomes and impact through precision medicine and second the significant gaps to rural populations in colorado.

As a leader for the Colorado cancer coalition, the work for the 2026-2030 cancer control plan is underway and addressing disparities is essential and we need more people at the table to do this work. Who will join me??

Throughout the weekend, the importance of evaluating patient fitness was emphasized in every presentation. Many attendees, from cancer care professionals to industry partners, connected with me to express gratitude for allowing them to focus on themselves. As I remind myself, making change starts with me!

Here’s to an upcoming weekend in my former hometown of kansascity, hope to see some old and new colleagues! ”
