Shrenik Shah: Even Without Vocal Cords, My Voice Reached Times Square
Shrenik Shah, Patient Ambassador and Moderator of Fridays with Shrenik Live webinar at the Indian Cancer Society, posted on LinkedIn:
“Even without vocal cords, my voice reached Times Square.
On August 24th, I had one of those surreal moments, seeing my face on a 50ft screen in New York’s Times Square.
It makes you stop. It makes you smile. It makes you think of the journey that led here.
I’ve often said: I may not have a natural voice, but I do have a clarion one.
A bionic voice that carries resilience, stories, and hope across borders.
To be featured here — twice now — isn’t about the billboard.
It’s about what it represents:
- Quiet effort, day after day.
- People who believed in me when words failed.
- Communities that gave my silence a platform.
I feel honored to stand alongside incredible people like Danny Thompson, who’ve also been featured here. And a heartfelt thank you to topmate.io for creating a platform that doesn’t just showcase its users, but truly celebrates them.
Two times at Times Square. Yet it still feels like the first.”
