Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu: a high-impact program that aims to transform health communication
Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu shared on X:
“As an active participant since its start in 2019, I am sad to see Breakthrough ACTION-Nigeria close out. As evidenced in the report, it is a high-impact program funded by USAID/Nigeria that aims to transform health communication and promote sustainable health practices, women empowerment and financial literacy in Nigeria.
The event marked a symbolic “passing of the baton” as the project’s responsibilities transitioned to government organizations and community institutions. I extend my deep and fond appreciation to the Kebbi state team.
It was great teamwork with Sammy on our many workshops, radio shows, townhall meetings etc. We were also able to distribute essential commodities like insecticide-treated bed nets and grinding machines.
I specially thank the Kebbi state coordinator Mr Sammy, as well as the Nigeria country representative, Dr Shittu Abdu-Aguye and look foward to the next phase.”
