“Hereditary germline cancer variants in biliary tract cancer

27 cancer-predisposing genes analysed in 1,292 BTC cases and 37,583 controls

5.5% had at least one pathogenic variant
BRCA1, BRCA2, APC, MSH6, PALB2
PALB2 were marginally associated

Ongoing preclinical and clinical studies in BTC targeting DDR.”
