Bishal Gyawali: Many thoughts on LAURA trial
Bishal Gyawali, Associate Professor at Queen’s University, shared a post on X/Twitter:
”Many thoughts on LAURA, will record it on ecancer video later. But the discussant of the LAURA trial basically said we now don’t need any RCTs even for other targeted therapies given these results? And no comment on the clear under staging of patients specially looking at the control arm curve? Doesn’t that make this more like treating metastatic disease early versus delayed? Which is also the reason for continued indefinite osi treatment.”
