Mark Hertling: “Bringing Columbia Home” is excellent…and I highly recommend it for all leaders who will eventually face a crisis.

Each year, the healthcare leader class I teach at Health First conducts a “staff ride” at NASA Kennedy Space Center. Part of that trip is a conversation with retired launch director Mike Leinbach (on my left in blue shirt & khakis). A terrific person and leader. His book “Bringing Columbia Home” about the Columbia Shuttle Disaster (STS107) is excellent…and I highly recommend it for all leaders who will eventually face a crisis.
