“Global Platform for Access to Cancer Medicines for Children met with the Minister of Health in Uzbekistan. We also met with national stakeholders related to strategic priorities, including commemorative events and signing og the official Letter of Agreement. We celebrated milestone planning and addressed the need for broader implementation support in the context of multiple commitments by the government of Uzbekistan to cancer control, particularly related to the Global Platform but also on women’s Cancer like Breast Cancer and the CCEI (Cervical cancer elimination initiative) thank you very much for the wonderful preparation by the WHO country office Asheena Khalakdina and the great partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”
