Alique Topalian: Incredibly honored and humbled to be nominated for an Unsung Hero Award from Cancer Family Care
Alique Topalian, Research Scientist at Survivorship and Supportive Services, the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center, recently shared on LinkedIn:
“I truly love my job-cancer is never easy but it led me to find my true calling and become the fullest version of myself. I am so thankful to work with an amazing group of people at UC Cancer Survivorship and Supportive Services who inspire and support me every single day.
Our team is so loving and passionate about providing care to help improve the quality of life of individuals impacted by cancer through supportive services.
I am so incredibly honored and humbled to be nominated by my incredible mentors Melinda Butsch Kovacic and Elizabeth Shaughnessy for an Unsung Hero Award from Cancer Family Care!
These awards honor the many quiet acts of courage performed by people touched by cancer and those who care for them. Unsung Hero Awards were created to recognize the many selfless acts of kindness, compassion, courage, and strength in the face of this devastating disease. I am so incredibly blessed.”
