‘I would remind myself on that first day of school that this experience is more than just textbooks and tests. It involves exploring the intricacies of public health and realizing how social justice and health equity are such important aspect of healthcare.

I would tell myself that every class, every conversation, and every assignment will help me get a better grasp of the ways in which society and health are intertwined.

And most importantly, I’d remind myself that despite any challenges, I’ll come to cherish every moment of this experience.'”
