Matthew Kurian: Integrating AI into our everyday practice and decision-making
Matthew Kurian, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, shared on LinkedIn:
“As oncologists, we need to recognize we are in the early phases of developing, testing, and integrating AI into our everyday practice and decision-making. We must be able to explain the pros and cons of the use of AI within oncology to our patients and hopefully use it as a tool to better care for our patients.
Check out my work with Howard Jack West and Jacob Adashek regarding the use of AI in cancer care published in JAMA Oncology today! Thankful for great mentors and colleagues like Jack and Jacob to get this across the finish line.
Also thankful to Douglas Flora and Daniel Flora for their support and guidance on this topic!”
