Highlights from Danish Cancer Research Days 2025 – Danish Cancer Institute
Danish Cancer Institute shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week, our researchers made their mark at DCCC – Danish Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Danish Cancer Research Days 2025, contributing both in person and to the scientific programme.
Many of our colleagues presented their work on stage, exploring themes such as how treatments can be better tailored to patients’ overall life situations and examining the co-occurrence of several severe late symptoms among cancer survivors. Group leader Susanne Dalton also gave a talk on the challenges faced by vulnerable patients in follow-up, highlighting an area of great importance for both patients and healthcare providers.
The conference also celebrated the next generation of cancer researchers.
Congratulations to Lukas Svendsen, who was recognised as one of only seven young scientists to receive the Exceptional New Scientist Abstract award, and to Postdoc Anne Katrine Levinsen, who won the prestigious Acta Oncologica Poster Award.
We are very proud of all our researchers for their inspiring contributions and for representing the Danish Cancer Institute at the forefront of cancer research.”
