By increasing hepatitis testing, we can save more lives – Todd Harper

Our Victorian Cancer Registry shows liver cancer is the sixth most common cause of cancer death in Victoria, with alarming new research from the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity revealing an 18.5% decrease in hepatitis testing. Hepatitis B and C account for most liver cancer diagnoses, the decline in testing is putting thousands of Victorians at risk.
By increasing hepatitis testing, we can save more lives.
