
Loretta Lau Has Received the 2025 UNSW Discipline of Paediatrics and Child Health Publication Prize

“We’re delighted to share that Associate Professor Loretta Lau, Molecular Oncologist with the ZERO Childhood Cancer Program and Paediatric Oncologist at Sydney Children’s Hospital, has received the 2025 UNSW Discipline of Paediatrics and Child Health Publication Prize – Senior Academics Category.
The award recognises Loretta’s leadership on a study published in Nature Medicine, exploring precision-guided treatment for children with high-risk cancers. Conducted as part of the Zero Childhood Cancer Program, the research was supported by a nationwide collaboration of paediatric cancer centres working together to improve outcomes for children with the most challenging diagnoses.
