Hannatu Ayuba: The Survivor Stories Inspire Action for Improvements and Changes in Policy
Hannatu Ayuba, Consultant Radiation and Clinical Oncologist at National Hospital Abuja, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a nice time hanging out with our Gynaecological Cancer Survivors and other Survivors seeing them learning the art of advocacy! Having a lived experience says it all!
The Survivor stories and voices say a lot more they depict the Health system, how it impacts on the care journey, it teaches resilience and strength and inspires action for improvements changes in policy. The learnt the right use of Social Media, how to start a campaign and sustain it, positive living and so much more!
Our Professors of Hospice and Palliative Care also gave interesting lectures and so many more interesting personalities and resource persons !
It was nice learning alongside all of you (Champions for life!!!)!”
Runcie Chidebe, Executive Director of Project PINK BLUE, shared this post on LinkedIn, adding:
“Thank you so much Hannatu Ayuba. Your passion and logic for patient-centered care is infectious.
