Cancer Institute NSW – 50 Years of Honouring the Resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
Cancer Institute NSW posted on LinkedIn:
“This NAIDOC Week marks a significant milestone – 50 years of honouring and elevating the voices, culture, and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy, celebrates not only the achievements of the past, but the bright future ahead. By elevating Aboriginal voices and empowering communities, healthier futures can be created and generations protected.
The Cancer Institute NSW is committed to spotlighting, uplifting and supporting the current and future health needs of Aboriginal people. We encouraged staff to share their reflections on Aboriginal culture, connection, and the role they play in shaping the future of Aboriginal healthcare.
