How widely is PET imaging used in brain tumour care across Europe? – EORTC
European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“How widely is PET imaging used in brain tumour care across Europe?
A new survey by the EORTC Brain Tumour Group reveals that 93% of centres have access to PET, and 72% actively use it in clinical management, highlighting strong infrastructure for PET-based endpoints in future neuro-oncology trials.
The study, published in European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, was lead by Maximilian Mair and Nathalie Albert and was conducted on behalf of the Nuclear Medicine Committee and the Quality Assurance Committee of the EORTC Brain Tumour Group.
