Jemma Arakelyan: Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting
Jemma Arakelyan, Medical Oncologist and CEO of the Institute of Cancer and Crisis, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting is intense, but I had to pause and share this highlight:
Sharing a panel as a young scientist with Prof. Aaron Ciechanover and Dr. Hagen Schroeter, moderated by the incredible Adam Smith (Nobel Prize Outreach), was an absolute honor.
Huge thanks to Mars, Abigail Stevenson, Croucher Foundation, and Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
P.S. Prof. Ciechanover’s story: As a young surgeon, he kept seeing patients arrive too late to help. So he quit surgery and rushed to the lab – desperate to stop diseases before they win. That journey led to his Nobel-winning work on protein degradation – research that now turns hope into real treatments for people.”
