Aladina Foundation Marks €1.2M Pediatric Oncology Hospital Milestone at La Paz Hospital

“A year ago we inaugurated the new Pediatric Oncology Day Hospital of the Hospital de La Paz. Swipe to see how beautiful everything turned out!
With a cost of €1,200,000 financed entirely by us and an area of 800m2, more than 500 children with cancer pass through its facilities every year in 4,000 consultations. The project had the collaboration of the Nemesio Diez Foundation, the Mutual Médica Foundation, the ACS Foundation, Taiga Mistral, and the Telefónica Foundation. Thank you very much!
The new Day Hospital has:
Two Day Hospital areas: one for transplant patients and the other for onco-haematological patients, both with isolation boxes for more delicate patients.
Two waiting rooms: one for transplant patients and another room separated into two well-differentiated areas; one for oncohematological patients, and another for contagious patients.
Thank you all very much for helping us to make projects like this a reality and improve the quality of life of hundreds of families with children with cancer.”
