”JPM 2024 was truly an inspiring week!
This is the 5th JPM I’ve attended and I just love the energy, learning about the scientific and technological advancements, industry trends, exchanging ideas, meeting new people and networking with thought leaders!
Here are some themes that resonated with me:
1) There’s renewed optimism for 2024 after the industry-wide difficult 2023 year.
2) The Amazing AI race! We will see AI in virtually every aspect of drug and device development: discovery, regulatory, clinical development/operations, manufacturing/operations, quality, sales and marketing, and value access…
We will also see AI’s presence in care coordination and health services so we can help those who tirelessly help patients and their families…
3) Treatment modalities to watch: targeted therapies like antibody drug conjugates (making their comeback), radiopharmaceuticals, and cell and gene therapies.
4) Continued focus on oncology, immunology, and neurology therapeutic areas.
I love that we are in an industry that is committed to improving the lives of patients and their families… What were some of your takeaways from the conference? Did you have a favorite moment?”
