“Still reflecting on the 7th Swedish Cancer Research Meeting (SCRM 2025) this past week — what an inspiring experience. Lao Saal, Claus Lindbjerg Andersen, Ida Skarping
Exceptional organization, a thoughtfully curated program, and an outstanding lineup of speakers. So much to take away and reflect upon.
The last day, I was especially delighted to listen to Penilla Gunther, Member of the EU Cancer Mission Board, European Commission, and Founder of FOKUS Patient.
It was also a real pleasure to spend time with Prof. Mats Jerkeman, Head of the Medical Oncology Department at Lund University Cancer Centre, and Prof Douglas Hanahan from the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in Lausanne, Switzerland. What are the new Hallmarks of Cancer ?
Truly grateful to have been part of it.”
