NCI Center for Global Health Highlights Challenges of Conducting Cancer Trials in LMICs
NCI Center for Global Health shared on LinkedIn about a recent paper by Linsey Eldridge et al. published in Jama Network Open:
“Though key to testing the safety and efficacy of new cancer treatments, clinical trials do not always reflect the global burden of cancer.
A new study in JAMA Network Open surveyed clinicians with cancer therapeutic clinical trial experience in low- and middle-income countries, to determine common challenges faced when conducting trials in resource-constrained settings. Read more about these challenges and potential solutions to strengthen clinical trials in LMICs.”
