“Baheya Zayed – First Day in Our Operative Theatre. April 8, 2025.
The sheer pride, honor, and happiness I experience are beyond any words. A decade of dedication at Baheya culminates in this momentous occasion: the inauguration of our very own operative theatres. I find myself drawn to the term “operative theatre” rather than “operating room.”
A stage where medical artistry unfolds, where we perform with precision, impart knowledge, and derive immense fulfillment under the focused attention of our colleagues. This perspective, so formative in my medical education, was imparted by our exceptional mentor, Dr. Hussien Khairy. It is this very concept of the “theatre” that makes the specialty of surgery so uniquely captivating.
Congratulations to Baheya team and to all the patients for this mile stone.”
