Sachin Jain: The Hidden Cost of Middlemen in US Healthcare
Sachin Jain, President and CEO of SCAN Group and Health Plan, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“All across healthcare, there are entities that produce life-saving or life-prolonging products, technologies, and services.
And we also have non-value added entities that add pennies to the cost of healthcare.
The middlemen.
Individually, a penny here and a penny there is harmless.
Taken together, though, they represent non-value added grift that makes *all* non-healthcare products and services United States more expensive and less competitive in the global arena.”
