In this Women’s History Month, the oncology community continues to highlight influential women in science and healthcare. This time, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) shared a post on their LinkedIn page, putting the spotlight on “17 Trailblazing Women Researchers Who Changed Breast Cancer Forever”:
“BCRF funds 260+ outstanding investigators who are all working tirelessly to advance breast cancer research. This Women’s History Month, BCRF is highlighting some of our female investigators who have made notable contributions to the field.
Today, we focus on disparities in breast cancer. Their research uncovers the factors that drive unequal outcomes and access to care and paving the way for more equitable prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
