“The V.O.I.C.E. (Voices of Impact for Cancer Equity) initiative is coming with a transformative change in cancer care, particularly in Africa, with exciting next moves on the horizon.
A heartfelt thank you to Carolyn Taylor for her visionary leadership and tireless efforts in advocating for cancer equity globally, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
A key focus of V.O.I.C.E. is addressing policy gaps that limit access to treatment, screening, and supportive care, particularly for cancers affecting women. Central to this effort is ensuring that people with lived experiences are at the heart of policy advocacy.
Their voices are not just important – they are essential in shaping policies that truly address the needs of those affected by cancer. Without their input, we risk creating solutions that miss the mark.
