Enes Erul: Proud to Represent Turkey at the ESMO Resilience Workshop
Enes Erul, Oncology Fellow at Ankara University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Proud to Represent Turkey at the ESMO Resilience Workshop!
I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Workshop on Leading for Better Mental Health, Wellbeing, and Resilience of the Oncology Workforce, where I engaged with brilliant minds from 31 countries.
This was the most interactive, comfortable, and thought-provoking workshop I have ever attended, allowing me to reflect deeply on my own challenges and growth.
It was an honor to contribute a project selected among only four from all participating nations.
Oncologists, healthcare professionals, and caregivers play a crucial role in supporting patients, but their own well-being often goes unnoticed. ‘We have to take care of the carer’ is a powerful reminder that resilience, mental health, and self-care are essential for those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
And now, after meeting so many amazing people during this workshop, a global collaboration is on the way!
Exciting projects ahead! Let’s keep the conversation going on mental health and resilience in oncology!”
