“Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science and we would like to acknowledge the incredible contribution of women to Children’s Cancer Institute.
Women make up 67% of our total workforce, 43% of our leadership team and 46% of our board of directors. We’re proud of all the amazing women who work hard every day to improve outcomes for children diagnosed with cancer.
We asked some of these powerhouse women what it means to them to work in science – particularly in the field of childhood cancer. Scroll through the images to get a sneak peak into the passion and dedication behind their work.
