“Take Action for Cancer Care: Share Your Insights to Drive Change in the Middle East & North Africa This World Cancer Day.
Cairo, February 4th, 2025: Every year, millions of lives are touched by cancer, but together, we can change the narrative. This World Cancer Day, let’s unite to ensure no one faces this battle alone.
In line with the Declaration of Cooperation, signed by several Arab countries at the Breast Gynecological & Immunooncology International Cancer Conference-BGICC in Cairo, the International Cancer Patient Coalition (ICPC) and the Arab Cancer Patient Coalition are launching a global survey to assess cancer care in the MENA region.
This survey is a critical step toward advancing the four key actions outlined in the Declaration:
- Synergy for Solutions ‘Innovation Council’: Driving collaboration for innovative cancer care.
- The Discovery Nexus: Prioritizing early detection, survivorship, and health literacy.
- Transformative Innovation Platform: Leveraging AI, big data, and research for personalized treatment.
- Freedom to Lead Framework: Positioning MENA as a global leader in patient-centered health advancements.
