“Today is World Cancer Day – My profile photo is upside down because cancer turned my world upside down.
Cancer turned my world upside down when I was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2024. As a Scientific Advisor at Qatar Cancer Society, I have spent years advocating for patients, but suddenly, I found myself on the other side of the fight. This journey has deepened my purpose – turning adversity into action, science into support, and fear into hope for those facing cancer.”
