How life changes with the words ”you have breast cancer”

When we first started working together, I was still in the early stages of processing what a cancer diagnosis truly meant for my life, my family, and myself. A lot has changed since then—even my own reflections on the experience continue to evolve—but one thing that has remained constant is the incredible support and space Komen has provided for every emotion, every stage, and every feeling along the way.
