“You still have time to register for our two new courses launching this February at our Chelsea campus.
Working in partnership with The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, we’re excited to share.
Image theory, perception and processing course.
- Tuesday 11 February 2025
This one-day course covers the mathematics of medical imaging, including image formation, processing, human visual perception, and 3D display techniques. It applies to all imaging systems with examples from ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MRI, and X-ray CT.
The course is ideal for those in medical physics training, post-graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of medical imaging mathematics.

Diagnostic radiology and CT course.
- Wednesday 12 February – Friday 14 February 2025
This three-day course covers the scientific principles of X-ray and CT imaging, including system components, testing, performance, patient dosimetry, image quality, and optimisation in healthcare.
It’s a great opportunity for medical physics trainees, post-graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, physicist-managers, and commercial representatives.
