“Countdown to World Cancer Day 2025: United by Unique!
Every year, the world comes together on February 4th to stand against cancer. This year’s theme, ‘United by Unique,’ reminds us that while cancer impacts us differently, our collective strength and diversity can drive meaningful change.
As a breast cancer survivor, I’ve learned that every journey is unique. Our battles may differ, but our shared hope, resilience, and determination unite us. Together, we are stronger, and together, we can close the gaps in cancer care.
This January, let’s prepare to make an impact:
Celebrate Uniqueness: Share your story or that of someone you know. Each voice matters and can inspire others.
Create Awareness: Educate your community about early detection and accessible care for all.
Show Support: Plan to participate in World Cancer Day activities, every little effort helps.
This year, Project PINK BLUE Runcie C.W. Chidebe is organizing one of the biggest cancer walks in Abuja to commemorate World Cancer Day. It’s a great opportunity to join hands and walk for a cause that affects us all. Mark your calendars and get involved!
