Drew Moghanaki: SBRT has forever changed lung cancer treatment
Drew Moghanaki, Professor and Chief of Thoracic Oncology at the Department of Radiation Oncology, UCLA, shared a post on X:
“SBRT has forever changed lung cancer treatment.
With sub-millimeter accuracy, we now treat and even cure lung cancer in a single session.
There is zero downtime with this treatment as there’s no need for anesthesia or even lidocaine. It’s just amazing.”
