“The year might be coming to an end, but we are still embarking on new projects, excited to explore unnavigated research avenues.
Until we achieve our mission of defeating cancer, our work to save and improve the lives of thousands more people with cancer will continue.
However, as we do every December, we have taken the opportunity to celebrate our scientific achievements over the past academic year, selecting ten key papers that represent the breadth and depth of our research excellence.
Our chosen highlights demonstrate the progress we’ve helped make in various types of cancer, including breast cancer, acute myeloid leukaemia, sarcoma, and prostate cancer.
They also reveal our impact at each stage of research – from early-stage imaging work that could revolutionise structural biology to a phase III trial that could change the standard of care in clinical practice.
