Rahul Banerjee: Antibody targets in smoldering multiple myeloma analyzed
Rahul Banerjee, Assistant Professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, posted the following on X:
“Fascinating analysis in HemaSphere Journal by Hermouet Sigurdur Kristinsson et al. – what is the antibody in smoldering multiple myeloma?
Unknown in a third of cases, but often targeting infection. A fascinating what-if question in the concluding paragraph below pertinent to all plasma cell disorders.”
Rahul Banerjee is an assistant professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center at the University of Washington. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania health system.
He completed his fellowship in haematology and oncology from the University of California, San Francisco. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications. His clinical interests include multiple myeloma.
