“Advancing Early Cancer Diagnosis: Call for Papers
Understanding patient acceptability is essential for advancing early cancer diagnosis. Despite evidence of barriers, many studies overlook demographic differences in patient experiences. By focusing on the nuances of acceptability, we can address inequalities and improve screening uptake in diverse communities.
How can we better integrate theoretical frameworks to enhance test acceptability, ensuring equitable cancer diagnosis for all?
We invite reviews and original research that apply these frameworks to measure acceptability and explore social and ethnic inequalities in early cancer diagnosis.
This special edition is led by editors Christian Von Wagner, Robert Kerrison, Yasemin Hirst, Ruth Evans and Lily Taylor.
