Olubukola Ayodele: The pinnacle of LGCW 2024 – the Cancer Health Disparities Day event

Olubukola Ayodele, Consultant Medical Oncologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, shared a post on LinkedIn by Neil Ranasinghe, Lead Technical Author at London Stock Exchange, adding:

“London Global Cancer Week 2024 kicks off tomorrow, bringing together a diverse array of stakeholders from around the globe with over 40 engaging meetings planned throughout the week. The atmosphere will be buzzing with discussions, insights, and innovation in the field of cancer research and advocacy.

The pinnacle of this week will be the Cancer Health Disparities Day event, set to take place at the historic House of Commons on November 15, 2024. This event promises to be unforgettable, featuring a lineup of esteemed speakers who are leaders in their fields. It presents a remarkable opportunity to network with international experts and stakeholders who are dedicated to addressing and overcoming inequalities in cancer care.

Due to the stringent security measures at the Palace of Westminster, it is critical that you secure an invitation to attend this significant event.

Please be aware that the last day to register for in-person attendance is this coming Monday night (11th November 2024) at 11:30pm.

Dr. Olubukola Ayodele is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, specializing in breast and genitourinary malignancies, including germ cell tumors. She is also an honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leicester and heads the Breast Cancer Clinical Trials Unit at the Leicester Cancer Research Centre.

Dr. Ayodele’s work includes numerous publications, clinical trials, and collaborative research projects on molecular drivers and biomarkers in breast cancer. She is a member of ASCO, ESMO, ACP and UKBCG.
